I really like the Access Lighting Zig Sydney contemporary bathroom light, Model# AC-63814, but am a little unsure about if it’s going to provide enough light for my bathroom. Are the globes 4.25 inches tall, or is that the height from the top of the bar to the bottom of the globe? I have a pretty small bathroom - the wall it’d be centered on is about 5 feet wide - but it’d be essentially the only light in there.
Answer:
The canopy or backplate is 4.25″. The globe itself is 2.75″ in height, with an opening (width) of 2.5″. This bathroom light uses four 40W Halogen bulbs, which means a total of 160W of Halogen light output. That is roughly equivalent to 180W of the regular incandescent light output. If the bathroom is pretty small, this bathroom light fixture should provide enough lighting for you, especially if this bathroom light is mounted with the glasses positioned downward.

I need to purchase the NTL-2203 track lighting assembly, but I’m not sure what lamps are compatible with this track light fixture. Please provide me the complete model number of the lamp that fits the NTL-2203 fixture.
Answer:
The bulb that the track light uses is the common bi-pin MR16 Halogen bulb, which is pretty much the standard for low-voltage track lights. We don’t currently sell the regular MR16 bulbs on our website, because customers have easy access to them at places like Home Depot or Lowe’s. However, plans to add a complete line of bulbs at competitive prices to our offerings is in the works.

The Designers Fountain Gladiator outdoor wall sconce I just ordered from you requires “Edison Base 100 watt Max” lamping. Is that just a standard base?
Answer:
Yes, Edison Base is the regular medium base socket / lampholder that we see everyday. Another alias is called “incandescent E26″ based socket. This lampholder is the most common lampholder for the regular table lamps and floor lamps, as well as some lighting fixtures.

I have halo track lighting in my kitchen and I’m looking to replace the spot lights with some pendant lights. I understand the pendant light adapter you carry with allow me to change light fixtures and utilize the old track. My question is, we found some lights on a thin rod, as opposed to a cord. Will the adapter allow for a light hanging by a thin rod? The picture on your web site makes it look very tight. (the Nora Lighting brand - halo compatible)
Answer:
The pendant light adapter will probably “not” work with pendant lights on thin rods. The adapters are designed to work with pendant lights with regular flexible cords.

I’m looking at the Lite Source Fireworks Contemporary Ceiling Light, Model# LS-1850-C-Multi, and was wondering if it pivots at the top or if it is rigid.? I have an angled ceiling that I would hang it from.
Answer:
Unfortunately, the Fireworks ceiling light has a rigid stem. You probably need to find some other ceiling light to work with your sloped ceiling. You can see more contemporary ceiling lights, or contemporary chandeliers here.

I’m interested in your model LK31 ceiling fan lighting kit for overhead fans. Will this fit most fans? i have an older fan with a different lighting arrangment and prefer the style I just mentioned.
Answer:
We can only guarantee that the light kit works with Craftmade ceiling fans. It might work with other fan brands, but we cannot guarantee that. If you want, you can contact Craftmade to see if the ceiling fan light kits will work with your fan. Their phone number is 800-486-4892. Hope this helps.

We are almost ready to order some Tiffany lamps: Paul Sahlin Tiffany No. 1271 and no. 1272 are a given. But we are really torn between No. 1315 and No. 1302 as our third choice. All three are to be used in the same room. Given the first two Tiffany lamps, is there anything you could provide to make our choice easier? Is there a way to do a side-by-side comparison? Or perhaps compare the shades?
Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry. As you can probably tell, the 1315 Tiffany floor lamp is in the same family as 1271 Tiffanytable lamp and 1272 Mission Tiffany floor lamp. They have similiar shade designs. The shade consists of colors amber, root beer, and green. The 1302 Swivel Tiffany floor lamp has a different design. Its shade only has amber and root beer color. The manufacturer is actually discontinuing 1302 soon. Once they deplete their current inventory, it will not be available anymore. 1302 currently does not sell as well as the 1315. It could be because it’s been out longer, or it could just be because more people like the 1315. I would go with 1315 if it was me, since you mentioned all three are to be used in the same room.

I have a couple of questions regarding track lighting. What are the standard track lengths? Assuming j-box and line-voltage, what is the minimum spacing and maximum number of fixtures per track?
Answer:
There is no standard length for the tracks. They just come in varied lengths (ie. 4′, 6′, 8′, etc…) and can be cut in the field to any length. The general rule of thumb is to place track light fixtures about 2 - 3 feet apart. However, technically you can place two track light fixtures right next to each other if you would like.

Is the Nora Lighting monorail lighting system available in bronze, for both the rail and the fixtures?
Answer:
The Nora Rail does come in the Bronze finish. However, not all the rail light fixtures come in the bronze finish. If you can let us know the heads that you are interested in, we can verify for you if the bronze finish is available. To give you a heads up, the bronze finish costs more than the satin nickel finish.

I am interested in order a pair of LBL Lighting Nube 217 pendant lights.? Do I need to order any additional parts?such as a transformer or canopy with those items.? I am mounting them on 4 inch round junction boxes.
Answer:
If you are getting the Nube 217 Coax Pendant Light (HS297),which is low-voltage, then you would need to order the transformer + canopy option, which costs $35 extra. If you are getting the Nube 217 Suspension Pendant Light (HS217), which is line-voltage, then you don’t need to order additional parts.

We are considering purchasing the Neptune I wall sconce by LBL lighting. Do we need to purchase a transformer with this wall sconce or is this included?
Answer:
The transformer is included with the LBL Lighting Neptune I wall sconce. It does not have to be purchased separately. The transformer will fit a standard 4″ electrical junction box.
