I would like to order the Tech Lighting “Venus canopy” #700FJSFV Chrome w/12V transformer for a customer, the problem is he needs the cable of each one to be five different lengths ranging from 10.5 ft. to 14.4 ft. They are being hung in a bar from a beamed ceiling. Can we order the venus canopy with different cable lenghts?? Please respond asap. Thanks.

Answer: We can supply the Tech Lighting Venus canopy and pendant lights with custom cable lengths. However, we would need to know which Tech Lighting pendant lights you are interested in before we can let you know the added cost. Please let us know and we would be happy to assist you.

Can you tell me a little about this lamp? The Gunther Desk Lamp by Lite Source. I need to know the base diameter, and if it’s dimmable (and where the switch is - I assume in the cord).

Answer: The base diameter for this desk lamp is 7.5″. The desk lamp itself comes with an inline dimmer switch, which is located on the cord.

I am interested in ordering all new lighting fixtures for our new home. We really like the Via Roma collection from Maxim Lighting, however, we would prefer to have a different color for the glass shades. Is there anyway to custom order with your company and get that collection with more of an amber shade or one with a yellowish tint?

Answer: Unfortunately, the glass on the Via Roma collection of light fixtures by Maxim Lighting cannot be changed. The items come pre-packaged as-is. The glass can be spray painted. However, if the lights are modified in anyway- it voids the warranty and is not returnable. Hope this helps. 

The LBL Lighting monorail lighting system is very flexible in that the monorails are field-bendable. How much much can the monorails be bent?

Answer: The minimum horizontal radius of the LBL Lighting monorail is 1 foot. If customers want to to bend the monorail vertically downward or upward, the maximum curvature is 30 degrees. Beyond 30 degrees, the insulator inside the monorail will pop, causing the monorail to fail.

I’m looking for a few pendant lights in black or dark blue to hang over the kitchen island & saw the Odyssey Monopad AC-52001. The height is noted as 120″ - 10 feet??! Is that right?

Answer: The entire length of the pendant light fixture is 120″, including the cord. The shade of the pendant light is 12″ in length, and the diameter of the shade is 2″.

I am interested in the Lite Source OCTOPI 8-Lite Ceiling Light - LS-18488-MULTI. I am not familiar with how much light a 10w halogen bulb produces. Can you help me understand how much light I can expect from this lighting fixture?

Answer: Since this Lite Source ceiling light fixture has 10 heads and each head is a 10W Halogen lamp, the total wattage is 80W. Halogen is a bit more efficient than the regular incandescent lamping. A rough estimate is around 15%. Therefore, this ceiling light has a light output that’s close to a 90-Watt incandescent lamp. It’s not going light up an entire room. You will likely need some other supplemental light source.

What is the chain and wire length of the Maxim Lighting Abbey Outdoor Pendant Light?

Answer: Most of Maxim Lighting pendant lights and chandeliers come with a standard 6-foot chain and 14-foot wire, include this pendant light.
