1. Why is each LBL Lighting pendant light packaged individually when I order more than 1 pendant light?
Since all of our glass is hand blown, the glass shape, size, and opening will vary slightly. Each mounting hardware, socket, glass fitter etc, is fine tuned and checked against the glass before they are shipped in the warehouse. Thus each glass is packaged together with its own complement socket and cord set. DO NOT mix and match the glass to different socket cord sets.
2. Should I pick the Halogen or Xelogen lamp?
LBL Lighting’s manufacturer recommends the Xelogen lamp, if available. Xelogen bulbs gives off more evenly dispersed lighting and makes the colors from hand blown glass shade glow much better, unlike MR-16 Halogen’s parabloic dome-shape metal housing. The socket will receive both the Halogen and Xelogen bulbs. Thus, if you pick Xelogen on your order now, you can always switch back to MR-16 Halogen later. MR-16 Halogen bulbs are widely available in most hardware stores for about $2-3 a piece.
3. Can I add a dimmer?
Yes, if you are planning to add a dimmer, make sure it’s the low voltage electronic dimmer. (Lutron brand is suggested). Most people use the 50W lamp when they are adding a low voltage electronic dimmer to these pendant lights.
4. When should I use a DOME canopy instead of the FLUSH canopy?
The default canopy for MONOPOINT mounting is the FLUSH canopy, unless otherwise specify on your order. DOME canopies are used when you don’t have room in the attic / above ceiling wall for the electrical box to house the 75W transformer (2.125″ L x 1.25″ W x 0.75″ H).  Please verify this with your electrician / installer.
5. Why are the glass pattern not the same as pictures on the website?
Please keep in mind that all the glass shades from LBL Lighting are hand blown in Europe. Some color, pattern, or splotch variations should be expected from batches to batches. Thus no two glasses are going to exactly alike.
6. Can I shorten the coxial cord?
Yes, the silver braided coxial cord comes in default of 8 feet length and can be shorten to the desired length at the field.
