I just bought 3 Tech Lighting 700FJECP pendant lights. They are beautiful. I am hardwiring them into the ceiling and I want to know if you have rods to cover the pendant cable?
Answer:
Currently, neither we nor the manufacturer; Tech Lighting, carries rods to cover the cord on this model of pendant light.

I am wondering if I can use an “ordinary” kitchen/dining area hanging lamp fixture in a bathroom. Some say that I have to use a special “bathroom fixture only” rated fixture. If so,why is this? It may be a dining hanging lamp, but I want to install it in the bath over the vanity. If I can’t, can I use an outdoor fixture in the bath?
Answer:
In most cases, one can use an “ordinary” fixture in the bathroom. The main concern would be that if the fixture is directly over the tub/ shower, then the hot steam / vapor might cause the fixture to rust at a very fast rate.
To be safe, you can always call the manufacturer directly to verify if the fixture can be hung in the bathroom. You should be able to search for manufacturer’s contact information on Google or Yahoo.

I recently purchased 3 LBL Lighting pendants HS377 and I would like to know if a dimmer switch is available and if so, how much the cost would be for these three LBL pendants?
Answer:
The transformer for these pendants are electronic; thus a low voltage electronic transformer is needed. 50W x 3 fixtures means that the dimmer has to handle at least 150W watts. Arcadian recommends the Lutron low voltage electronic dimmer DVELV-300P.
There is a good chance that a regular household line voltage 120V dimmer might be used to control the dimming at about half of the cost. However, consider going with Lutron’s Diva low voltage electronic dimmer - DV-10P, to be sure that they will be working the first time and to save labor. Â

I am wondering why an item is advertised at 64.00 then adds 34.00 when I add it to the shopping cart. I would like to know what this charge is for? I also want to order a Craftmade ceiling fan SN52. It also shows a price and then in parenthesis adds an extra 25.00. Why?
Answer:
With regards to the Craftmade items you mentioned, depending on the finish desired, there may be an upcharge. This is not a shipping charge. You are paying to customize your order, and some finishes are more expensive than others. In the case of the SN52 fan, there is an upcharge of $25 dollars on four different finishes. Once the blades of the fan have been chosen, you will see many different choices, some of which have an upcharge.

Please verify the correct height of this Access Lighting contemporary pendant light cluster - AC-50517, your specs say 120 inches which is 10 FEET! I looked at other pendant light clusters (of only 3 lights) and it also says 120 inches. This has to be incorrect. What is the correct height of this 5 pendant light cluster?
Answer:
The maximum height of AC-50517 is indeed 120″ equivalent to 10ft. The picture on our website shows the arrangement of lights hanging at different lengths because the length of each of the pendant lights can be customized to hang at the height of your choosing.

I need to know the depth of these Dabmar step lights - LV-636 and if they have their own transformer built in or if one needs to be purchased separately. How many lights can go on one transfomer? And what kind of transformer should I use? The riser of the stairs will be made out of granite, will this be a problem using this kind of lighting?Â
Answer:
This outdoor lighting fixture can be recessed in the granite, but additionally confirm with your contractor. You will have to buy the transformer separately and they are listed here in our Landscape Lighting Accessories section: Â
The wattage on the transformer will depend on the number of light fixtures you have in use. For example, if the LV-636 uses 20W x 6 outdoor lighting fixtures = 120W needed to power all fixtures. Then the transformer rating has to be at least 120W or more. For more info, please visit our outdoor lighting / landscape lighting tutorial.

Do you have 12V, 20W in ground lighting which can be installed in a hole drilled in an interlocking paving stone to highlight the side of a driveway? I want to install approximately 7 lights alongside my driveway, so the fixture must sit flush with the top of a paving stone approximately 2 3/4″ high.
Answer:
Assuming that there will be foot and possible car traffic along the side of the driveway, where these fixtures are placed, we would recommend the Dabmar outdoor recessed lighting FG-318 as it is made of fiberglass and the lens can withstand women wearing high heels.

I am interested in purchasing 2 of the Access Lighting AC-Cone-l pendant lights with the 23101 Pendant Set and Glass Model #969ST. I would like to know what the diameter of the base (the circular piece that connects to the ceiling) is.
Answer: The canopy of those pendant lights is almost 4.5″ in diameter and can cover a 4″ diameter hole.
