Access Lighting Desk Lamp Halogen Blub Difference
Thursday, October 19th, 2006I’m trying to decided between two Access Lighting products: the Flamingo Contemporary Desk Lamp - AC-50374 or the Stork Contemporary Desk Lamp - AC-50395. The Flamingo comes with a “50W G-8 110v halogen” bulb, while the Stork comes with a “100W T3 J78mm halogen” bulb. Can you please tell me the general difference between these bulbs?
Aside from the bulbs, are there any other significant differences between the two lamps?
Answer:
The AC-50395 (Stork) is more popular with Access Lighting because it has brighter light. This blub is tubular The AC-50374 (Flamingo) has a bi-pin light bulb. The light bulbs on each of the fixtures are very easy to find, as you can purchase them at Walmart, or your local hardware store. The Stork model comes in other finish options while the Flamingo only comes a brushed steel finish.Â
Also, both of these items are confirmed in stock, so they can ship directly from Access Lighting who is located in CA, in 3-5 business days.
