I’m very interested in ordering the Designers Fountain Galicia Traditional Pendant Light DF-94132-AO but would like to know the way the item turns on and off. I prefer a light with a pull chain from the bottom.

Answer: We can tell you that this model is hardwired and therefore the on/off component would be through the wall switch.

I have some Halo gimbel ring track fixtures which are low voltage. I wanted to know if they would be compatible with the Nora Lighting 6ft. 3-Wire Halo Compatible Track NT-303. I have a feeling they are, but just wanted to make sure before I purchase them.

Answer: Yes, they are compatible.

I am thinking about buying this floor lamp, but would like to know the dimension of the shade.

Answer: The Lite Source shade dimensions of the LS-9543 MICA light fixture is 15″ by 15″ square. The height is 6 3/4″ from top to bottom. The top is 4″ by 4″ square.

Does this lighting fixture have any elements of chrome in it? I am wanting a ligh fixture that is entirely brushed chrome and I can’t tell by the picture on the site.

Answer: The RL-BB-095 Contemporary Bathroom Light is offered in satin chrome with no chrome accents, so it should be suitable for your needs.

Is the stem a fixed or a ball-joint on the Solar Contemporary Chandelier? Is it possible to make it telescopic?

Answer: The Access Lighting AC-50509 chandelier is a fixed-joint and is not telescopic. If you have a sloped ceiling, you can purchase the optional S-501 sloped ceiling adapter. You can also purchase additional rods / stems for this contemporary chandelier adding up to 10′ if you have a high ceilng.

I have noticed that many of the pendants that you sell come with vertical rods to cover the cord. Is it possible to get such a set-up for the Lite Source Cane Contemporary Mini Pendant? And how about for any other pendant that is sold with just a bare cord?

Answer: Pendant rods vary and some pendants are designed with a vertical rod and some with a bare cord. The LS-1714 does not have a vertical rod available It is sold as a unit, as is, by the manufacturer.

I am writing regarding the Cal Lighting San Gabriel Mica Floor Lamp BO-217. I am having some trouble putting this light fixture together. I got the top part of it assembled fine, but the base of the lamp confuses me. The top section of the lamp is screwed into the bottom heavy section of the base. The cord seems to be in the way of attaching the screw and the wing-nut through. This makes it appear to be impossible to attach the top and bottom together! Help!

Answer: The cord is underneath the bottom weight. First, put on the screw and wingnut by attaching it to the cord. The cord goes underneath the weight, and the nut holds on the screw which secures the top. Then, pull the cord down until it stops and then place the weight on top.

I have a four-blade Casablanca Panama fan. Will the Craftmade Alabaster Glass Elegance Ceiling Fan light kit fit my fan? Thank you.

Answer:  All Craftmade light kits should fit most ceiling fans, as long as the bottom of the fan has a 1/4″ all thread nose cone to receive the light kit. You may also contact Craftmade technical support to see if the ceiling fan light kits will work with your fan. Their number is 800-486-4892.

I just received my Craftmade Cordova ceiling fan and realized I could not find the 24 x 1/2″ downrod in brushed nickel in my area. I looked at your website and did not find one there. I need to hang this fan asap. Where can I purchase the needed part?

I’m looking for a transformer for the LBL Fusion Track Lighting 12v 150w. The whole transformer with light fixture is on your site, but I’d like to order just the transformer.

Answer: At this time, we do not sell the transformer by itself from this surface mount canopy.  

I have been looking for track lighting for my kitchen. I have a 120v wire on a ceiling beam where I want to connect a track and lights. Most of the systems have a round transformer that is too large to fit on the beam. The beam is 5 1/2 ” wide. The Nora system looks as if it might work (I only need a four foot expanse). However, I simply can’t figure out what pieces I need to create the system. Do you have to use the round power canopy or can you just use the straight power connecter? Is there a kit? I could sure use some help on this.

Answer: Please confirm with an electrician that there is an electrical junction box for the outlet wires. If so try the following items:

The white shades that come with this lighting kit appear to have a reddish tint when lit. Have you had any inquiries about this previously? Also, if we purchase the new light shades listed in your catalogue is it $34.95 per shade or is the price for a kit of 5?

Answer: The reddish tint to the shade is due to the MR16 halogen lamp. I would recommend that you try to get a different low voltage 12V MR16 lamp (i.e. GE Constant Color MR16 for picture light) from a local hardware store. As for the Tiella Glass Shade Accessory for Sola shade, they are sold for $34.95 each.
