Could you please advise if I can use this Craftmade flush mount outdoor ceiling light Espana outdoor flush mount ceiling light as a decorative trim on my outdoor recessed cans (porch)? Thanks a lot!!
Answer: You will have to completely remove the recessed trim AND housing, and then install an electrical junction box in order to adapt to this ceiling light fixture. Most often, that will require an electrician to install the electrical box. Please note that the Espana outdoor flush mount ceiling light is only about 8″ in width. So if the hole left by the recessed light is wider than 8 inches, then the light fixture will be too small to cover the hole.

I visited your website and fell in love with these pendant lights. I am in the process of hiring an electrician to install pendant-friendly electrical lighting on a ceiling that is 18-ft tall over an existing kitchen island bar. I need to know the difference between the flush mount and dome-mount canopies.
My concern is that in the details it is mentioned that the pendants arrive with 8-ft cables. My home will require at least 12-ft of length for the cable for each pendant to hang at the desired 29″ above the surface of the island. Is it possible to request additional feet of cable for each? Please let me know.
Answer: First and foremost, you will be pleased with the LBL Lighting Madeleine pendant light fixtures because so many of our customers purchase them and love them as well. To answer your first question regarding the difference between the dome canopy and flush canopy, the dome canopy is dome-shaped and houses the transformer. Once awhile, our customers will have ceilings that do not have a standard size electrical box to house the transformer. So to alleviate that problem, the dome canopy will house the transformer. The dimensions of the transformer is about 2.125″ x 1.25″ x 0.75″. So, if you do not have a standard electrical box, you will need to go with the dome canopy. The flush canopy is flushed to the ceiling and its dimensions are: 4.25″ in diameter and is about 0.375″ in height. It mounts to a standard 4″ electrical box The dome canopy is 4.375″ in diameter and is 1.25″ in height. As for the additional cable — yes, that can be done. You can order extra.

FIRST QUESTION: I am interested in purchasing a set of — Lite Source Pendant Light - Calder LS-10501-PS-FRO — and am unclear about how they are installed. Can they be hung from tracks? Can they also be hung as single light fixture? What additional parts, if any, do I need to do both of these things? We would like to hang 3 from a track lighting system and hang one on its own from a ceiling electrical feed.
SECOND QUESTION: We are also interested in purchasing multiple track lighting systems and track heads, but wondered what the maximum run length is using Halo tracks and a SINGLE electrical feed. We would ideally like to feed 6 eight-foot track lengths from a SINGLE electrical ceiling feed. Is this possible to do safely and within electrical code specifications?
Answer: The LS-10501-PS-FRO comes with its own canopy to be mounted individually. For the 3 pendants that you want to hang to a straight track lighting system, you will need to get some kind of pendant track adapter. The only one we sell is Nora Lighting Halo Compatible pendant adapter NT-317.
For your second question, yes, you can run (6) 8-foot track from a single electrical feed for the 120V line voltage. Nora Lighting has comfirmed to me that this should not be a problem with the voltage drop. You can look in our track accessories page for this.

I am listing my apartment for sale. I want to buy 1-2 Tiffany lamps to perk up the place while it is on the market. However, I have two questions: 1) I have toddler grand children; do your Tiffany lamps have lead content? 2) Where would a lamp that I order be shipped from? I have already made one online purchase elsewhere 6 weeks ago and it turned out the lamp was not in stock, but on a ship somewhere between US and China. I desperately need good service, as well as a lamp!
Answer: We called the manufacturer, Meyda Tiffany and found out that Tiffany lamps have minimum lead content. They use mostly copper. In the meantime, you could view our website and view the different Tiffany lamps we have. Once you have an item picked out, it will be easier to answer your other questions about product availability, the shipping date and where it will be shipped. Since different manufacturers are in different locations,  shipping times to your location will vary.

Will the Emerson Premier Ceiling Fan and Lights Control (SW115) work on a Harbor Breeze 56″ Bedford Ceiling Fan?
Answer:  We are sorry to inform you that the Emerson Premier Ceiling Fan and Lights Control is not likely to work with the Harbor Breeze Bedford ceiling fan. Emerson control is designed to work with their own brand receiver and fans. It is not recommended for use with other brands.

I’m looking at the Nora Lighting slope adapters for Halo track - you listed three models, NT-333, NT-334 and NT-335 and I don’t see a difference.
Answer: This slope adapter allows you to adapt a track lighting fixture head to a track lighting system, that is installed on a sloped ceiling.
NT-333 - For use on 3-wire (Halo compatible) track lighting system and 3-wire (Halo compatible track lighting fixture)
NT-334 - For use on 2-wire (Juno) track lighting fixtures on 3-wire Nora Lighting track
NT-335 - For use on 3-wire Nora Lighting track lighting fixtures on 2-wire (Juno) track
Thus, if your lighting fixture is a 3-wire Halo-compatible head and your track lighting system is a 3-wire Halo-compatible track, then you can get the NT-333.

I’m interested in ordering this Maxim Lighting Pacific 3-Light kitchen island light (in a pewter finish), but from the picture, I don’t see how it would connect electrically to where my current ceiling light fixture is. Can you let me know whether it can be installed where my current kitchen ceiling light fixture is without additional electrical work?
Answer: For this Maxim Lighting kitchen lighting fixture, there is a canopy that attaches the light fixture to the ceiling. Also the wires and necessary chain are included with the light fixture. It comes with a 6′ chain, and a 17′ wire.

I am very interested in buying the Lite Source Pharaoh torchiere lamp but I wanted to know if the bulb is standard or is there a special type of bulb for it? Do you sell the bulbs? I could not navigate on your site to find them if you do.
Answer: The light bulb for this Lite Source Pharaoh torchiere floor lamp is just a standard edison light bulb, medium base. The maximum wattage allowed is 150W.

The description for this ceiling light, the Maxim lighting Desert Wind semi-flush ceiling light, is 10″ in height and 18″ in width. I compared this to my current front entry light and found that the glass part alone is 18″x10″. Is this product - iron included - 10″? That doesn’t seem right from viewing the picture. Just wanted to double check before purchasing several light fixtures from this line. Thanks.
Answer: The light fixture is 10 inches from the inside center of the glass to the canopy. Its height does not include the iron spiral at the bottom. The picture on the website is a little off. This light fixture attaches to the ceiling and does not have a chain. We have enclosed an attached image so you can see what it really looks like.

I am seeking lighting options in my very old unit (for sale soon). And you have extremely beautiful lighting fixtures I’d like to consider. Installing hard-wiring is not an option, I’m trying to keep it simple and functional (but elegant). All I have are standard plug-in outlets to work with. I am looking for swag-style product options that will allow me to install pendant lights throughout my home that can be hung from the ceiling yet plugged into the wall. Do you stock these types of pendants? If so, how can I tell which pendant lights can be adapted to plug into a standard wall outlet plug? Thanks!
Answer: We carry a manufacturer called Meyda Tiffany and they are able to customize their products. Please take a look and see if there are any pendant/hanging lights that you are interested in and let us know, so that we may ask Meyda Tiffany if they can be altered to swag. We hope this information is helpful.

Is this Lite Source floor lamp - STUDIO Contemporary Floor lamp available with 6 or 8 lamps? I am seeking a lamp to illuminate art work in a living room with wall art hung 20 feet maximum off floor from center of room location and would like to avoid needing more than one floor lamp.
Answer: For this lamp, it has at most four lights. We looked at the family of this product and there is one other floor lamp, the STUDIO II contemporary floor lamp, which has four lights as well. All other fixtures in this family are ceiling light fixtures and only have four lights as well.
We have searched our website and provided links to alternative lamps: Lite Source Uni II - 5- Lite Floor Lamp, Lite Source Multi-Lite 5 Head Floor Lamp, and Lite Source Newport Contemporary Floor Lamp.
