I love your web site. I have a question about this Maxim Lighting pendant light - the Valencia Pendant Light - MX-91054-VG-WB. Is the rod fixed or can it changed to adjust in increments? Also, can I wire the lights in a chain of three?

With regards to the stems, you can use the stems at your discretion. Additional stems can also be purchased in increments of 6″ and 12″.

Does Access Lighting Vision Adjustable Contemporary Pendant Light - AC-50105 have a different design than the Access Lighting Vision Adjustable Contemporary Pendant Light - AC-50104? I recently purchased  the AC-50104 and wonder if the other one is larger but has identical design?
Answer: These pendant lights: AC-50105 and AC-50104 are different designs within the same family (the Vision series). However, the AC-50105 is indeed larger than the AC-50104. The AC-50105 is 30″ in width, whereas the AC-50104 is 20″ in width. We hope this information is of help to you.

I ordered the LBL Lighting Baybridge ceiling light -HS1861 but it seems that it is for an 8′ ceiling. I have 10′ ceilings and do not have the extentions included in my order. Were they suppose to be included or was I suppose to indicate the ceiling height at the time of purchase to receive the extentions?
Answer: We spoke to LBL Lighting and they advised us that additional rods can not be attached to the extension you have now. However, they do have a 6-foot and a 10-foot extension. You wouldn’t need the 10ft extension because your ceiling is 10 feet in height, so you can go ahead and purchase the 6ft extention. The rod is field cuttable, which means that if your electrician needs to shorten it, he can. Usually if you need extentions or a specific height to be achieved, it is always good to let us know ahead of time that way we can request it upon ordering from the manufacturer and therefore avoid having to buy the replacement part. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi there. I have a sloped ceiling and want to know if this Lite Source contemporary pendant light has a swivel base so that it will hang straight from the ceiling or whether it’s a rod connected to the base without a swivel. From the picture, it almost looks like it’s on some sort of a pivot, but couldn’t clearly tell. Second, I would like to know if the arms are totally flexible, for example, if I wanted to turn them the other way round?
Answer: The Lite Source Calista Contemporary pendant light is not sloped ceiling adaptable and there aren’t any adapters that will allow it to hang straight from a sloped ceiling. The arms, however, are flexible. We hope this information helps.

I am a consumer looking for a replacement light kit for a Hunter ceiling fan, and I was wondering if your light kits are only for use with Craftmade fans, or are they universal? I’m looking to get the Craftmade Mica Ceiling Fan Light Kit - LK53-EB.
Answer: All Craftmade ceiling fan light kits should fit most ceiling fans, as long as the bottom of the fan has a 1/4-inch all threaded nose cone to receive to the light kit. However, we can not guarantee the light kit will fit any fans. You may also contact Craftmade technical support to see if the ceiling fan light kits will work with your fan. Their phone number is 800-486-4892.

Before I order, is the top of this outdoor light fixture closed or open? Which lamping option is best for rain or snow?
Answer: This energy efficient Access Lighting Cast Aluminum Outdoor Bulkhead - AC-20300 is NOT OPENED at the top. The top is enclosed because this item is certified for the outdoors and for damp locations (like rainy locations).

Hi, in your catalog I’m looking at this path light, the  SPJ Solid Brass Path Light SPJ11-05 comes with a compact flourescent bulb. However, I have been told by my landscaper that it only comes with an incandescent bulb. Who is correct - your catalog or my landscaper? I need to know by tomorrow whether to order this light fixture if I want a flourescent lighting fixture.
Answer: From the information provided by the manufacturer, the item SPJ11-05 can use BOTH the compact fluorescent bulb and the incandescent bulb. The reason they advise on using the fluorescent bulb is compact fluorescent bulbs are highly efficient with high CRI and good color temp index rating. Also, fluorescent lamps are more efficient than incandescent light bulbs in terms of equivalent brightness. This is because a greater proportion of the power used is converted to usable light and a smaller proportion is converted to heat, allowing fluorescent lamps to run cooler. Typically a fluorescent lamp will last between 10 to 20 times as long as an incandescent lamp.
