It really depends on what type of landscape lighting fixtures you are using and the surrounding environment. In general, if you are using smaller profile path lights, you would place them 6 - 8 feet apart for residential area, and 4 - 6 feet for commercial area. However, if the landscape lighting fixtures you are using is higher powered, like bollard lights with HID lamping, you can space them further apart as they are taller and emit a very good amount of light. Some examples of path lights that should be spaced 6 - 8 feet apart are the SPJ12-06 mini bollard light, or the LV-102 pagoda light.

Hi. I am interested in purchasing the Dabmar 150W Landscape Lighting Transformer with Timer and Photocell. But I would like to know if the photocell activates the timer to count down a certain number of hours. For example, if I set the timer for 3 hours and the photocell activates the system at 8pm, it should shut off at 11pm. Is this correct? Thank you for your help.
Answer: Hello. The way photocell works for this 150W Landscape Lighting Transformer (DM-LVT-150) is that it activates when the sun goes down. It has a digital timer that you can set to stay on up to 9 hours. It is crucial that this Dabmar landscape lighting transformer is placed in direct sunlight in order for it to work properly. So when the sun sets, the lights will stay on for as many hours after you programmed it into the digital timer.
We do hope this answers your question. If you have any other concerns, please feel free to contact us.

Can you please tell me what light bulbs do these two Paul Sahlin Tiffany Table Lamps take? Are they just regular light bulbs? (like GE or Phillips). I ordered the Mission Style Tiffany Table Lamp (1245-2 and 306-2) for an organization and I would like to send them light bulbs for these table lamps.
Answer: The 2 Paul Sahlin Tiffany Table Lamps (1245-2 and 306-2) both take up to a 40 Watt Candelabra type bulb. It is the kind of bulb with a skinny screwshell base. Hope this helps!

I am interested in ET2 Lighting Contempra Contemporary Ceiling Light for my kitchen which has a 9′ ceiling. It says it has a Chain: 51″ (OAH). What does OAH means? Is it adjustable? How adjustable? Will there be too much excess cord to wrap up somewhere? Or is it cuttable? Will it work with a 9′ ceiling? Thanks.
Answer: OAH stands for Over All Height. ET2 Lighting’s Ceiling Light (E22123-10) is not adjustable, BUT an electrician can adjust it to any height. PLEASE NOTE: If an electrician changes the height, the item is NO LONGER under warranty. How low are you hoping to hang the ceiling light fixture? If your ceiling is 9′ then Contempra Contemporary Ceiling Light may hang too low. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

What is a resin? And if we have a “finish” in product description does it means the product is made of resin? I believe only the base is made of resin. And if a part of a lamp is made of resin, does it make the item cheaper?
Answer: Resin refers to an artificial complex composite that is similar to plastic in durability and dexterity. Various parts of lamps are manufactured using Resin to substitute steel, or plastics due to the ever increasing cost of materials. Resin is most commonly found in the base of portable (table) lamps. However, it can also be found on shades, and other parts of the lamp. Since manufacturing and molding resin is a manual process, when used aesthetically (i.e. shades), resin can vary in aesthetic and texture.
Generally a “finish” can refer to many different components of the lamp, so it does not necessarily mean that a product that has a “finish” is or is not a resin product.
You are correct, resin can be found in the base of a lamp. However, it’s application is not exclusive to that location. Resin products are not necessarily lower priced products, they just use a substitute manufacturing material.

The Orb Contemporary Pendant Light by ET2 Lighting arrived today and we liked it a lot. Just wondering if you have poles which is 6-8 inch shorter than the one it came with.
Answer: We are really glad you guys liked the pendant light. Unfortunately, ET2 Lighting does not offer a shorter line rod (the stem that hangs the fixture from the ceiling) for your Orb contemporary pendant light model. However, you may try to do 1 of two things:
1. You can hunt a line rod down that is compatible with your pendant lighting fixture. (i.e. restoration hardware, lamps plus, etc.)
2. If you are handy, you can cut the rod, and use a lathe to machine the threads on manually. (This may sound outrageous, however I understand it is relatively simple)
We hope that it helped. Should you have any need for further assistance, feel free to contact us.

Could you please advise if this Troy Lighting Aspen Energy Efficient Outdoor Hanging Lantern comes smaller than 18″ high? And suitable for New Zealand?
Answer: The Aspen Energy Efficient Outdoor Hanging Lantern does not come any smaller than 17.5″ in height. However, it is a damp rated outdoor lighting fixture. Meaning, it can be hang in an atmosphere with a high moisture content. As far as electrical compatibility is concerned, you will need to consult that with an electrician. But as far as we know, as long as you match up/convert the proper voltage to the outdoor hanging light then it should be fine. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.

Hi. I want to order Desert Wrought Iron Floor Lamp (BO-431) and Desert Wrought Iron Torchiere Lamp (B0-429) by Cal Lighting. Can you tell me are these lamps black wrought iron or brown? Thanks.
Answer: Cal Lighting’s floor lamp and torchiere lamp are actually a combination of rusty brown, with flecks of light blue, and black for an aged look. So, basically the finish that was added to this item gives it an antiquated, weathered look, like you had it imported from a rainy corner store off a cobblestone street somewhere in Europe. Hopefully, this satisfactorily answers your questions.

I have a Concord Fans Madison 52″ Ceiling Fan. On my instruction manual, it says it is one of the following model numbers: 52DCO, 52DY, 52DYD, 52HS or 52MA. I would guess it is 52MA. Will my Handheld Remote Control (CC-RM-08)Â work with my ceiling fan?
Answer: Yes. Your Concord Fan Handheld Remote Control will work with your Madison ceiling fan (CC-52MA) as long as it is not flush-mounted/hugger fan. Please note that the receiver needs to be in the canopy of the ceiling fan.
