Maxim Finish Clarifications For Chandelier And Wall Sconce
I am planning on placing an order for item MX-2656, Maxim Lighting chandelier & wall sconces MX-8020 but between my computer screen and printer I keep getting different samples of this lightings finishes.
-  Do you have any samples, either paper & ink swatches or metal swatches of the various finishes? I would greatly appreciate anything that you can mail to me.
- What is wilshire glass compared to marble glass?
- We are looking for a mottled brown with rust highlights. I think we are going to want Country Stone however I’m not sure what color Acorn is. One picture looked green and another rusty brown. We don’t want pewter or Kentucky Bronzes if that is prodominately black as the swatch appears. If Acorn is green then the decision is probably fairly clear however if two of the colors have rust highlights our choice would be one of those.
Answer:
1. We do not have finish samples. They only thing is looking at the pictures or the Maxim Lighting finish page. Please note that per our store policy, we do charge a 20% restocking fee on returns for personal reasons (such as finish doesn’t match decor), because we get charged a restocking fee by our suppliers. We want to make sure our customers are aware of our store policies and are happy with their purchase.
2. You can get a good idea on the color and pattern of the Wilshire glass by searching for “wilshire” in the search box (top left corner) on our website, or by going to this link. Â
3.The Maxim Lighting Country Stone finish on our website is a fairly good representation of the actual finish chip, while the Acorn finish is bit harder to make out. By looking at the chip sample we have, you wouldn’t say it’s greenish. However, if you ask if there is any green element in the finish, the answer would be yes, albeit very slightly. It also depends on the lighting and the angle you are viewing the finish at, I know this is probably not very helpful, but it’s probably the best we can describe it. Please take a look here for all the finishes, Maxim Lighting finish page.
