Hello, I need a dimmer for Tech Lighting Staccato Contemporary Chandelier - 700STAC. I understand it needs to be a low voltage electronic dimmer but I’m not sure which one to buy. Can you help? Thanks.
Answer: This chandelier from Tech Lighting takes (24) 10W bulbs which equals 240W, so you need at least a 300W low voltage dimmer and since the transformer is electronic, you need an electronic dimmer. Below are some of your choices, we mean the two most important bases to cover is that you get an electronic dimmer and that the dimmer is at least 300w.
Lutron Diva Electronic Low Voltage 300W Preset Dimmer - Gloss Finish - DVELV-300P
Lutron Skylark Electronic Low Voltage 300W Single Pole Preset Dimmer with On/Off Switch - SELV-300P
Lutron Skylark Electronic Low Voltage 300W 3-Way Preset Dimmer with On/Off Switch - SELV-303P
So basically, these are all 300w low voltage, electronic dimmers. From there you can pick any of these which suite your wants. Some of the dimmers have more extras than others, so it is all really based on preference. If you have any questions, please advise.

I like the Elk Lighting Refraction Contemporary Chandelier - ELK-1476-6-3 but have an angled cathedral ceiling. The light would have to mount on the angle plane of the ceiling. Is it available with a hang chain rather than the supplied pole mount? Does the pole mount swivel (mentioned in the discription) allow the chandelier to mount on an angled surface or only a flat surface. Please advise.
Answer: This chandelier from Elk Lighting does come with a swivel and therefore can be hung from a sloped ceiling, as long as it’s no more than 12 degrees. As well, you may hang this fixture from a chain, as opposed to the pole. However, we would need to ask Elk for a quote. Please advise if you wish to proceed.

I am looking for a lighting fixture that can match wrought iron products that I already have in place. I like the Uttermost Legato Traditional Chandelier - UM-21080 in Chestnut finish. Can you describe Chestnut finish and will it clash with the other wrought iron fixtures that I have?
Answer: The chestnut finish for this chandelier from Uttermost is a rich dark brown finish, almost chocolate in color. Unfortunately, we can not guarantee the finish will match another manufacturers finish. It is recommended, that if you want the exact finish, that you order an item from the same manufacturer.

How many lamps does this Meyda Tiffany Pine Cone Chandelier - MD-29268 has and what is the maximum wattage per bulb? Also, what is the difference between Meyda Tiffany Pine Cone Chandelier - MD-29268 and Meyda Tiffany Pine Cone Chandelier - MD-30168? The descriptions are the same but the price is different.
Answer: Meyda Tiffany Pine Cone Chandelier - MD-29268 takes (3) medium base bulbs each with a max wattage of 100. This chandelier Height is 33″ - 63″. Shade: 6″H x 22″W. Custom crafted and takes about 3-4 weeks to build. This fixture has a black finish with an amber mica shade. The mica shade is a type of glass, but it does not have the thickness of regular glass or feel like regular glass. It is sometimes mistaken for plastic because it is a lead glass material. It is however very beautiful when lit.
On the other hand, Meyda Tiffany Pine Cone Chandelier - MD-30168 takes (4) 100W max, medium base bulbs. These are the regular bulbs you can buy from your local hardware store (even a grocery store). This fixture height is 33″ - 63″. Shade: 6″H x 22″W. This item also takes 3-4 weeks to build and ship. This model has an antique copper finish and the shade is glass.

I just received my order for 2 lamps: Designers Fountain Stratton Transitional Chandelier - DF-98086-WM and Designers Fountain Stratton Transitional Inverted Pendant Light - DF-98031-WM. I opened the inverted pendant light box (DF-98031-WM) and found that the hanging chain was only 3 ft or less. The electrical wire was at least 12 ft. I need a 6 ft chain to install. I looked around at Home Depot to find a chain, but I couldn’t find anything even close to the color/style. I haven’t opened the other chandelier box (DF 98086-WM) yet, as I’m afraid that the chain may also be too short. Can you let me know if you can send me a longer chain (6 ft) that matches my lighting fixtures?
Answer: Designers Fountains default chain length is 3′ with 10′ of wire. In order to order more chain, you have to call in. The chain model number is CHNWML8G and the cost per foot is $2.97 plus $5 shipping and handling. Please advise back either by phone or email with the requested amount of chain. You can link the additional chain to the existing chain you have.

What does the category “Transitional” in chandeliers mean?
Answer: Transitional chandeliers can be used in an area like a dining room or another room that transitions into another room. The category transitional simply means you can choose a variety of smaller chandeliers for a simple yet sophisticated look. You can usually use any lighting fixture for any room as long as it blends in with the scheme of your decor. We hope this information helps.
