In the middle of the kitchen, 20 feet up in the air is a 5 foot X 5 foot skylight on a sloped ceiling. There is currently a very ugly custom made lighting fixture hanging from 4 chains. Power is on one corner of the skylight. Do you have any ideas for this room? Can monorail be hung 6 feet from the ceiling?
Answer: Yes. A monorail can be hung 6 feet from the sloped ceiling. We have just send to you the spec sheet for the LBL Lighting monorail (single circuit) for your reference. Click here to see the monorail swivel lights that you may consider as your lighting fixture.

The Access Lighting Vision Square Contemporary Wall Sconce/Ceiling Light - AC-50030 light fixture comes with a 200 watt halogen bulb. What type of bulb is this, i.e. to buy a replacement bulb, what type should I look for? Do you sell bulbs for this light fixture that have lower wattage?
Answer: First of all, if you order the halogen version of this Access Lighting wall sconce, a 200W lamp is included. The T3 118mm halogen is widely available at a local hardware store. Because we don’t specialize in light bulbs, we would recommend that you get the replacement lamp locally in a more cost effective way for about $5, instead of buying through our manufacturer, who source them from light bulb supplier. It is not a problem if you use a lower wattage, but this will mean less heat as well.

I am looking for a dimmer that can control my LED under cabinet lights with 10W of power. I installed a Lutron 600W Maestro Dimmer and it doesn’t dim at all. Thanks!
Answer: We’re not sure if your LED lamp is dimmable. You will need to verify with the manufacturer who makes them. Some are dimmable and some are not, depending on the driver it uses. Even if the LED lamp is dimmable, you might need to look into a low voltage, electronic dimmer to be compatible with the driver of the LED lamp. At this time, we can’t recommend a dimmer without additional information.

I have seen the Maxim Lighting Seville Flush Mount Ceiling Light Fixture, MX-2210-AA-GB, on your site and the image looks like it has a blue tone. Is this light fixture really blue?
Answer: This finish of this item is Greek Bronze, which is more of a brown shade. The photo has been lightened to show detail. We are in the process of acquiring new images for this item to better represent the shade.

Good morning. A month ago I checked with you on the availability of the LBL JC436 ceiling light fixture  and was told that it was backordered due to the Italian manufacturer being shut down. Could you please re-check the availability now and let me know as soon as possible? I will be utilizing these lights on an Italian-built boat and also wondered if they could be drop-shipped to the Genoa area. Thank you.
Answer: We contacted LBL Lighting today and the JC436 with Alabaster Glass lighting fixture is backordered until the end of November. The Opal Glass is in stock and there is a two week production wait. At this time, we only ship to the continental U.S.

I want to order this Lite Source item #LS-1868 but I have a quick question, it looks like clear glass, blue glass and black glass. Is the bottom glass black???
Answer:Â
I called Lite Source and they notified me that this pendant light / ceiling light item # LS-1868 has been discontinued and they have no stock available. To answer your question with regards to the color, that center piece is a black disc which is not glass. Although the oval shaped item you are asking about is discontinued, the round shaped one is still available under item  # LS-1867.

In looking at your lighting fixtures, I notice that you omit the weight of the light fixtures from the description. I have several lights I am interested in, but need to know how heavy they are. One of the models is Designers Fountain #9291-SL flush mount ceiling light. Please let me know what it weighs, and in the future you may want to list the weight of each fixture.
Answer:
The weight of the 9921-SL flush mount ceiling light is 10 pounds and there are five in stock. We will post the weight of our products on our website in the future if they are available to us. Thank you for your input.

When replacing ceiling light fixtures, I noticed there are 3 wires in a ceiling junction box - one black, one white and one red. The new light fixture only has a black, white and a ground wire. I know how to connect the black and white ones to the new fixture. Can you tell me how the red one should be connected? Thanks for your help.
Answer: For majority of the cases, where are two scenarios where you will find 3 wires in an electrical junction box. The first scenario is for wall electrical junction boxes - Usually when there are 3 wires in a wall electrical box, it’s for a 3-way switch where you can wire it so that 2 switches at different locations control the same light fixture. The second scenario is for a ceiling electrical box. It is mostly used for ceiling fans, where one of the 3 wires is to be connected to the ceiling fan and the other to the light that may be present in the fan. The one remaining wire is the neutral wire. It might also be used for 2-circuit track lights or 2-circuit monorail lighting system. We suggest you consult with an electrician to find what purpose the red wire serves and how is it connected to your switches.

I am interested in the Meyda Tiffany Moose kitchen island / billard light (MD-69610). A few questions:
- If I ordered today, when would the estimated delivery time be to Warren, Vermont
- What are the exact measurements (width, height, depth) of this billard light?
- I have a ceiling to the bottom of the light restriction of 26-27 inches. Will I be okay with this light fixture? For the part of the light that goes onto the ceiling, what would be the width of that fixture that gets attached to the ceiling.
- Lastly, do you carry Hubbarton Forge or Ponderosa lighting? Thank you.
Answer: Please see the following for answers to your questions.
- This item is built to order in the US, so please allow around 6 ~ 8 weeks. Meyda Tiffany is located in New York, so as soon as the item is made and shipped, you can expect to receive the light fixture within two business days.
- height: 12″, depth: 18″, Length: 61″. 3 ft chain on each side
- The canopy to be installed onto the ceiling is roughly 5″ by 50″. It is large in size so that the chain can hang straight down as opposed to at an angle. You can adjust the chain length to your own requirement.
- We do not presently carry Hubbarton Forge or Ponderosa lighting.

I am interested in ordering all new lighting fixtures for our new home. We really like the Via Roma collection from Maxim Lighting, however, we would prefer to have a different color for the glass shades. Is there anyway to custom order with your company and get that collection with more of an amber shade or one with a yellowish tint?
Answer: Unfortunately, the glass on the Via Roma collection of light fixtures by Maxim Lighting cannot be changed. The items come pre-packaged as-is. The glass can be spray painted. However, if the lights are modified in anyway- it voids the warranty and is not returnable. Hope this helps.Â
