Hello. I am interested in ordering two of these Kenroy Boulder Transitional Outdoor Wall Sconce - KR-70281-COP / Kenroy Boulder Transitional Outdoor Wall Sconce - KR-70282-COP but I am a little confused about their dimensions. Both are pictured on your website. However, the image used to illustrate both sizes is the same. The smaller one (KR-70281: dimensions 11″ x 7″ with glass 4″) appears proportionate to the picture provided, but the larger one (KR-70282: dimensions 16″ X 7″ with glass 6″) appears out of proportion if the stated dimensions on your website are correct. The smaller lamp seems too small for my particular application (Over two garage doors) so I am considering ordering the larger one. Could you please provide me with more detail on the dimensions of these two lamps before I order them? Specifically, I would like to know the following:

1. Exact dimensions of the back slate plate for the two lights.
2. exact height and width of the blown glass shades for the two lights from Kenroy.

Also if you could provide a picture of both outdoor lighting fixture, that would be very helpful to me in ordering the right one. The stated overall dimensions of one of these two lights just seem off to me, especially the larger one at 16″ X 7″. Thank you very much.

Answer: The dimensions of the backplate for model KR-70281 - outdoor wall sconce are 9.5″L x 4.25″W. The glass is 4.25″ square x 5.9375″H.

The dimensions of the backplate for model KR- 70282 - outdoor wall sconce are 13″L x 6.1875″W and the glass is 6″ sqaure by 8.625″H

I am considering Progress Lighting Polymeric Cylinders Transitional Outdoor Wall Sconce - PG-P5712. Can you confirm the material - is it plastic? If not, what is it made of?

Answer: This wall sconce material is indeed polycarbonate, or plastic. We have confirmed this information with Progress Lighting - the manufacturer.

Product description states that this Kenroy Nathaniel Swing Arm Transitional Wall Sconce - KR-30130-PB comes with a cord cover? Is the cord cover polished brass? How long is the cord cover?

Answer: We just found out that this wall sconce from Kenroy is currently backordered until approx. May 5th. The cord cover is also polished brass finish and is approx. 6 feet long.

I would like to order LBL Lighting EKO 18/G Outdoor Wall Sconce / Ceiling Light - EKO-18-G 13W black compact fluorescent model. I’m not sure what a ballast is and would like to ask for the differencee between a magnetic and an electronic ballast?

Answer: The magnetic ballast has a copper coil so there is less chance of buzzing. The electronic ballast may buzz after some time. Also, if you would like to apply a dimmer then it is recommended to go with a magnetic because electronic dimmers are much pricier.

The web page says that the width of this Maxim Lighting Pacific Traditional Wall Sconce - MX-8026-MR is 13″. That seems rather wide for a wall sconce light, is that value right? I am seeking bathroom lights to be placed at the sides of a mirror and there’s not much room, maybe 6 or so inches each side. Is it possible that the height and width values have been reversed?

Answer: We have verified that the dimensions of this wall sconce from Maxim Lighting are as follows W: 13″ H: 5″ Ext: 8″. It is a pretty wide fixture. However, we think we may have a good solution because another manufacturer called Access Lighting has a wide selection of more slender wall sconces that could better suit your application in the bathroom.

Hi. I was wondering if this Meyda Tiffany Lucerne Traditional Wall Sconce - MD-80111 comes with an on/off switch on the base. Would you also be able to tell me if any of your wall sconces come with on/off switches?

Answer: Per Meyda Tiffany - the manufacturer, Model# MD-80111 does not have an on/off switch on the base. This wall sconce is hardwired onto the wall.

There are some wall sonces that have rotary dimmers. Most of them are contemporary in style. We found it difficult to isolate any wall sconces with on/off rotary switches etc. Thus, if you would like to look through the different selections and email us with model numbers, we can verify whether or not the rotary switch is available.
