However, I am concerned that the “resin” base may not be heavy enough to prevent one of our pets from knocking the lamp over easily. So what does it weigh, and what the heck is “resin”? We have a similar table lamp with a metal base, quite heavy for a table lamp, but the cats can still tip it. The floor lamp with a relatively heavy glass shade could be too easily tipped over. I don’t relish paying a $50.00 restocking fee if the lamp is not satisfactory. Is there any dealer in Illinois or Indiana who stocks this brand where we might see it in person? To whom it may concern. What is the difference between Lite Source Module Contemporary Torchiere Lamp - LS-978-AB and Lite Source Module Contemporary Torchiere Lamp - LS-978-BRZ? Are these torchiere lamps available? Can you get this in polished steel? I’m not interested in the ones with fluorescent bulbs. Thanks!

Answer: The difference between LS-978-AB - torchiere lamp and LS-978-BRZ - torchiere lamp are the finishes of the lamp. AB stands for antique brass and BRZ is a bronze finish. Lite Source does not have any more of the Polished Steel finish as it has been discontinued.
