Inquiry About Meyda Tiffany Inverted Pendant Light

Thursday, June 28th, 2007

I like the Meyda Tiffany Sonoma Inverted Pendant Light but would like to know more about dimensions, installation and coloring. Also, are there gaps on type for the light or is it one solid decorative piece? Does it look green or is it my imagination?

Answer: We would love to provide you with the information requested. Can you be more specific with regards to what dimensions you are looking for? The total height of this light fixture is: 32-56h which means it can hang as high as 32″ or as low as 56″. This pendant light fixture is supplied with 3ft of chain and 4 ft of cable. If you need additional chain, we would need to know how much you would be ordering so we could specify that to Meyda Tiffany and also in order to give you the proper quotation. The shade is 9″ h x 40.5″ w and it uses a Med.X6 bulb Max Watt: 100/each bulb x 6 bulbs. Six-sided shade is in sand beige and bark brown granite stained art glass. The inverted pendant hardware has a warm cinnamon coffee powder coat finish.

Quoizel Lighting Tiffany Pendant Lamp Height Verification

Wednesday, June 27th, 2007

The Quoizel Lighting Alhamre’ Tiffany Contemporary Inverted Pendant Light - QZ-TF1816VB shows a height of 25 inches on your website. I need to know if that means the light fixture itself is 25 inches high or if it means the lighting fixture hangs from the ceiling at a height of 25 inches. Sorry, but I’m green at reading this sort of thing. I am at a point of ordering lights from you or at least my remodeler, Houston Structural is. They’re pressing me to make kitchen light selections so I do need to clear this up pretty quick.

Answer: The height of 25 inches refers to the height of this tiffany pendant light fixture itself and does NOT include the chain.

Do Tiffany Lamps have lead content?

Monday, May 21st, 2007

I am listing my apartment for sale. I want to buy 1-2 Tiffany lamps to perk up the place while it is on the market. However, I have two questions: 1) I have toddler grand children; do your Tiffany lamps have lead content? 2) Where would a lamp that I order be shipped from? I have already made one online purchase elsewhere 6 weeks ago and it turned out the lamp was not in stock, but on a ship somewhere between US and China. I desperately need good service, as well as a lamp!

Answer: We called the manufacturer, Meyda Tiffany and found out that Tiffany lamps have minimum lead content. They use mostly copper. In the meantime, you could view our website and view the different Tiffany lamps we have. Once you have an item picked out, it will be easier to answer your other questions about product availability, the shipping date and where it will be shipped. Since different manufacturers are in different locations,  shipping times to your location will vary.

Paul Sahlin Tiffany Lamp Glass Colors

Thursday, April 5th, 2007

Hi, I am interested in this Tiffany table lamp - A-Design Mission Style table lamp by Paul Sahlin Tiffany. If it’s possible, could you please tell me the color tones that are in the shade. Also if the shade has more pink or gold tones in the glass. I understand that each Tiffany lamp will be different in color tones. Any information you can give me about the colors in the glass will be helpful.

Answer: The bottom block of the Tiffany lamp shade is definitely pinkish. The thin color borders between the top and bottom glass block are also in a deeper shade of pink. The top block appears to be a mottled mix of colors, mainly light green with slight nuances of gold and lavender.

Color Of Meyda Tiffany Table Lamp

Monday, March 12th, 2007

I am interested in this Meyda Tiffany (MD-77773) ”Milkcan” table lamp. Is the shade actually the “orange” Mica as pictured or is it more “yellow”?

Answer: The model MD-77773 tiffany style table lamp on our website is lit. In which case you can see the way the light hits the shade and reflects an amber like color. Amber has an orange tint when lit, when turned off it looks a bit darker and has a brownish/orangish tone. In short, the table lamp will is more orange than yellow.

The Meyda Tiffany Mica shade is very thin and is made of lead glass. Some of our previous customers have confused it with plastic, however it is not plastic. The lamp itself is very elegant and simple.

Meyda Tiffany Navajo Mission Tiffany Table Lamp

Wednesday, January 10th, 2007

Your website says the width of the Meyda Tiffany Navajo Mission Tiffany Table Lamp (MD-66230) is 7” but it looks much bigger. Can you recheck the dimensions on box? Other sites have said it’s 14” wide. Also I’m worried about having these 2 lamps shipped. If they are damaged during shipment, will I still have to pay restocking fee?

Answer: We have confirmed that the shade is 8″ wide, not 7″ nor 14″. The Tiffany lamp’s total height is 24.5″. We have updated the information of this lamp on our website. To address the shipping concern that you have, if the lamps are damaged in shipping, we will replace the damaged lamp at no cost to you. However, if you refuse the replacement, we will have to charge a restocking fee. Hope this helps.

Selecting Tiffany Lamps

Monday, March 27th, 2006

We are almost ready to order some Tiffany lamps: Paul Sahlin Tiffany No. 1271 and no. 1272 are a given. But we are really torn between No. 1315 and No. 1302 as our third choice. All three are to be used in the same room. Given the first two Tiffany lamps, is there anything you could provide to make our choice easier? Is there a way to do a side-by-side comparison? Or perhaps compare the shades?

Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry. As you can probably tell, the 1315 Tiffany floor lamp is in the same family as 1271 Tiffanytable lamp and 1272 Mission Tiffany floor lamp. They have similiar shade designs. The shade consists of colors amber, root beer, and green. The 1302 Swivel Tiffany floor lamp has a different design. Its shade only has amber and root beer color. The manufacturer is actually discontinuing 1302 soon. Once they deplete their current inventory, it will not be available anymore. 1302 currently does not sell as well as the 1315. It could be because it’s been out longer, or it could just be because more people like the 1315. I would go with 1315 if it was me, since you mentioned all three are to be used in the same room.
