Ceiling Fan in Bathroom
I have a bathroom that has an 9 by 12 feet open area, not including the shower and toilet. The ceiling is 11 feet high. I am interested in the Craftmade Kona Bay Ceiling Fan and some other bathroom lighting fixtures. What size and type of ceiling fan blade should I use?
The Craftmade Kona Bay ceiling fan is rated for damp location, therefore it can be used in the bathroom. Since your bathroom is not very big (9′ x 12′), we would suggest you to use a 48″ or 44″ fan blade set. We think 48″ should serve you better. With regard to the ceiling fan blade type, if your bathroom’s ventilation is good where it does not accumulate moisture, you should be able to use just about any blade. Otherwise, you should use the Indoor / Outdoor Tropic Isle blades or the patio and porch blades. They are rated for damp location and will last a long time.
