Customer wants to know the right transformer to be used for Craftmade door bell / chime
I will need two transformers for the Craftmade Designer Black Door Bell / Chime – CM-CH5201-BK but don’t know how to choose which one is the correct one. Please advise.
Answer: The chime from Craftmade you are interested at has a 2 note chime.
For most our customer, the distance between the door bell and the chime is less than 50 feet. If that is the case, then you will need the Teiber by Craftmade 16V 15W Transformer for Door Bell Chime – CM-T1615
If the distance between your home door bell and the chime is more than 50 feet, then we would recommend the Craftmade 16V 30W Transformer for Door Bell Chime – CM-T1630
