I need to know the overall hanging dimensions of Designers Fountain Grand Palais Traditional Kitchen Island / Billiard Light - DF-97638-VBG. Is the 20.75″ the iron and shade measurements. What is the chain measurement. How low will it hang from the ceiling?

I purchased two of these Access Lighting Helius Contemporary Flush Mount Ceiling Light - AC-50420 already, and I am about to purchase at least 1 more. I would like to put one in a bathroom near the shower - but cannot tell if this is rated for the moisture in that area. Can you let me know if this lighting fixture would work in a bathroom? I assume it cannot work as an exterior light either - but wanted to check on that as well.

I am looking for a medium-dark brown dull finish, not metallic for Maxim Lighting South Park Solid Brass Transitional Outdoor Post Lantern Light - MX-6097-CL. I am not sure what finish would fall in that category, Bronze, Burnished, or Country stone. Any information would be appreciated.

Quoizel lighting mini pendant light height adjustment

I really like the Quoizel Lighting Imperial Traditional Mini Pendant Light - QZ-IM1506HL but notice the height is about 50 some inches high. We only have an eight foot ceiling. Since pendants will need to be 30+ inches off the counter we will only have a little more than two feet to hang a pendant light. Can the rod height be adjusted?

Answer: This pendant light from Quoizel Lighting has an overall height of 54″ the height includes (3) 12″ Rods. Thus, You will have a little over two feet to hang the pendant light from your 8ft ceiling. You can use 2 out of the 3 rods to achieve this. However, you will have the extra rod, should you want to hang the pendant light lower, but given the 3ft rule of thumb (from the counter) we think the two rods will be just right.

Nora lighting under cabinet lighting fixture information

I want to gang together (6) 48 inch Nora Lighting Ultra-Slim T5 Fluorescent Under Cabinet Fixture - NORA-NULS and place them up near the ceiling hidden behind a drape vallance. I want to leave the built in switches to the on position, and control the lights from a wall switch. Can I do that? Some fluorescent lights I used in the past needed to be turned on by the built in switch each time they were turn on and would not work they way I am describing.

Answer: As per Nora Lighting (the manufacturer), that will work perfectly okay to leave the switch on and control the line of NULS under cabinet lighting fixtures from a wall switch.

Tiella from Tech lighting pendants inquiry

My question is about the Tiella from Tech Lighting selection of pendants. I shop at my local Lowes, and their pendant selection is all rated at 35 watt, yet I see the same pendants available online listed as having 50 watt bulbs. Is the wiring the same for both lighting fixtures or is it different? Can a 50 watt bulb be placed in a 35 watt pendant?

Answer: Tech Lighting supplies Lowes with its products, but indeed there are subtle differences between the products sold to them and the products sold to online dealers. Thus, there is a difference in wiring if the maximum wattage of the pendants (at Lowes) can take is 35W. We would not recommend using a 50W bulb in a 35W fixture because it will burn it out, as well it can damage the glass and/or finish on the fixture. We hope this information helps.

Does OAH-99″ mean over all height of 99 inches? is that measured from the ceiling to the bottom of the globes? What does the ceiling mount look like? Will it fit a standard junction box easily? Are the chains easy to shorten? I would like this fixture in satin brass, is that in stock? Thank you.

Answer: The overall height of this kitchen island light from Progress Lighting is 99″, including the chain is measured from the top of the canopy to the bottom of the globe. The chain is easy to shorten, you would simply cut links it would take to achieve the overall height that you want. The fixture’s height is 31.25″, that leaves about 5ft of chain. This model in the satin brass finish is confirmed in stock in the manufacturer’s South Carolina warehouse. Item usually ship 1-3 days after the day of purchase.

Does this ET2 Crystal Forest Contemporary Pendant Light - E20082-20 have the same ceiling mount adapter like the ceiling mount adapter of the traditional light fixture? I cannot see the ceiling mount used for this lighting fixture from the picture, only the hook. Also, do you have any contemporary ceiling fans in the polished chrome finish like this pendant light?
