What does it take to make this Nora Lighting 6” Compact Fluorescent Quad/Triple Biax Sloped Recessed Light Housing – NHP-926-SERIES dimmable?

Answer: Nora Lighting (the manufacturer), advised there are two different requisite facets to make this recessed light housing dimmable. One, is the dimmable ballast within the fixture and the other is a wall switch dimmer. These housings are available with the dimmable ballast and without. We do not list pricing on the dimmable ballast housings because they are a custom item. If you could provide me with the amount of housings you’ll be needing for your project and your preferred lamping options we can provide you with some more accurate information.

Question regarding Quorum Lighting pendant light

This Quorum Lighting Cobalt Dome Contemporary Pendant Light – QR-864 would be used for over a kitchen sink. Does it provide a good amount of light? Also, does it come with a base to attach it to the ceiling?

Answer: Quorum Lighting (the manufacturer), advised that this pendant light comes with a canopy and all necessary mounting hardware to mount this fixture to the ceiling.

As for the amount of light output, the maximum wattage bulb that can be used with this lighting fixture is 60W. Typically we would recommend at least 3 sources of light in any particular room.

Answer: Unfortunately, this flush mount ceiling light from Troy Lighting does not qualify for any discounts. As far as our return policy if you are not happy with the item you’ve purchased or you come to find out you’ve ordered the wrong size, color or fixture. There will be a 20% restocking fee that will apply and you will also be responsible for the shipping charges to ship item back to the manufacturer. Arcadian Lighting does not accept any returns on clearance items or truck sized items.

The description states that the height of Mary-Kate and Ashley by Elk Lighting Continuum Contemporary Table Lamp – ELK-3925-1 is 17″. Is that with the shade? If not, how tall with the shade?

Answer: We were informed by Elk Lighting (the manufacturer), that the total height of the table lamp including the shade is 18″. The shade measurements is 8″ X 11″. Also, we confirmed the item is in stock.

What are the other components that come with this LBL Lighting Line-Voltage 3-Light Round Canopy – CK003B, like hanging wire and sockets. Or do I need to purchased those items separately?

Answer: This CK003B from LBL Lighting is a line voltage canopy, therefore, it will come with the necessary wiring components along with the canopy pictured. Once you choose your pendant light, the suspension cord or cable will come with the pendant.

Is the shade of Kenroy Rowan Traditional Table Lamp – KR-36004 a rectangular or round? It says 17″ D, but it looks very rectangular in the picture. Also, what material is used for this lamp?

Answer: Kenroy (the manufacturer), confirmed that the shade of this table lamp is squared. The measurement of the shade from the top is 7″ , 17″ bottom and 12″ height. The base is made out of resin. The total height is 17.75″, and the bottom part measures 8.5″. Question regarding Meyda Tiffany chandelier

Will this Meyda Tiffany Satellite Crystal Contemporary Chandelier – MD-38113 hang over dining room table with 12 ft. ceilings?

Answer: We would like to advise that this chandelier can be hung in a dinning room with 12ft ceilings. If needed, we can ask Meyda Tiffany (the manufacturer) to alter this lighting fixture to the desired length and provide you with a quote for the adjustment.

A few rules of thumb to light your dinning room are listed below.

Your dinning room chandelier should be no wider than 12″ less than the width of the table. The bottom of the chandelier should be no lower than 30″ above the table top. This height is for an 8′ ceiling. Raise the fixture 3″ higher for each additional foot of ceiling height.

You can add wall sconces, or portable lamps to add more light and ambiance. Sconces are hung about 60″ from the floor.

Hello. I have a client that is interested in this Craftmade Riviera Transitional Outdoor Wall Sconce – CM-Z3704-92 but I need additional information. What are the dimensions of the mounting bracket? I know that overall height is 11″ x 5 but nothing shows the bracket size. Thank you.

Customer would like to convert Halo tracks into pendant lights

Hi. We currently have a Halo track light in one of our branch offices. We would like to be able to convert it to pendant lights and we are looking for our best option so that we can convert this fixture easily and most importantly safely. We have seen pendant lights that have plug in cords and others with various connectors, so seems there may be an adapter for one or the other. I have seen adapters as well, but not sure which one would work best with our current track. I am not a lighting expert, but I think our tracks are two circuit as they have the two separate bands of copper wiring going down the length of each track. Is this correct?

Answer: Halo tracks are very popular. So popular in so much that there are many generic options for adaptability. One of the best H-track suppliers in the industry is Nora Lighting. To convert your current system into pendant lighting instead of track heads you will need the following:

Firstly – a pendant track adapter. There are a number of different ones depending on which kind of 2-Circuit track you’re running and what kind of pendants you’re looking to purchase; line voltage or low voltage. Below are some examples of pendant track adapter.
