Intermatic landscape lighting bollard lights inquiry
Hello. I am interested in the Intermatic Low Voltage Metal Bollard Light - IM-AL409. I am looking to light up the driveway with bollard lights. And, I have a few questions. Can these lights be mounted into the ground on a grasssy area on the edge of a driveway? Are these products made by a company called Malibu? On another site, I saw the same lights but they were called malibu bollards. How many people have purchased these bollards? What is the feedback on anyone purchasing these bollards? Is it possible for me to only buy the bollards from your place and then buy all the other accessories from another place? Does it make a difference if the cables and/or transformers are made by a different company or should everything be consistent and come from the same brand company? Thank you.
Answer: We have confirmed with the manufacturer that this landscape lighting bollard light can be mounted on a grassy area. As far as the brand goes, Intermatic is also known as Malibu, so this would have been the same product you saw on another website.
For the feedback/ quantities of people purchasing, their corporate office has those numbers. However, their customer service representatives advised that they do sell a lot of these bollards and haven’t had any problems with the fixture.
You may order accessories that are another brand, but please note that it is not recommended by the manufacturer, or our company, and since we cannot guarantee the compatibility of items from another brand with Intermatic.
