I see that this Maxim Lighting Via Roma 3-Light Kitchen Island Light - MX-2782-SV-GB finish is Greek Bronze. Exacly what color is that? Do you have a sample that I my view on-line. Also, the height is 21″, can the chain be shorten?
Answer: This kitchen island light from Maxim Lighting’s 21″ in height does not include the 6′ of chain that comes with it. Thus, you can use as much or as little chain as you would like. Also, to see an example of the Greek Bronze finish please see the link below. http://www.arcadianlighting.com/mx-2212-aa-gb.html

Hello. I am interested in ordering two of these Kenroy Boulder Transitional Outdoor Wall Sconce - KR-70281-COP / Kenroy Boulder Transitional Outdoor Wall Sconce - KR-70282-COP but I am a little confused about their dimensions. Both are pictured on your website. However, the image used to illustrate both sizes is the same. The smaller one (KR-70281: dimensions 11″ x 7″ with glass 4″) appears proportionate to the picture provided, but the larger one (KR-70282: dimensions 16″ X 7″ with glass 6″) appears out of proportion if the stated dimensions on your website are correct. The smaller lamp seems too small for my particular application (Over two garage doors) so I am considering ordering the larger one. Could you please provide me with more detail on the dimensions of these two lamps before I order them? Specifically, I would like to know the following:
1. Exact dimensions of the back slate plate for the two lights.
2. exact height and width of the blown glass shades for the two lights from Kenroy.
Also if you could provide a picture of both outdoor lighting fixture, that would be very helpful to me in ordering the right one. The stated overall dimensions of one of these two lights just seem off to me, especially the larger one at 16″ X 7″. Thank you very much.
Answer: The dimensions of the backplate for model KR-70281 - outdoor wall sconce are 9.5″L x 4.25″W. The glass is 4.25″ square x 5.9375″H.
The dimensions of the backplate for model KR- 70282 - outdoor wall sconce are 13″L x 6.1875″W and the glass is 6″ sqaure by 8.625″H

I am having my basement refinished. I was looking for recessed step lights to install on the steps down to the basement. Can I use your outdoor step lights indoors?
Answer: We have a manufacturer called Focus Industries, in which they have had customers use their outdoor step lights indoor because of the simplicity of the application. Though, the manufacturer do not recommend or suggest using outdoor recessed or step lights indoors, many people still do it. We would recommend using a low voltage light as it will not heat up as much as a 120V will and in turn cause any fire (if there is insulation near the lighting).

Hello. Our bathroom has been ripped out to the stud walls. Above the bathroom is an attic with a plywood floor. The electrician put in two of the 7 1/2″ housings for recessed lighting in bathrooms but it sticks up through the floor of the attic thereby making that part of the floor unusable. We’ll have to remove the housings (luckily the ceiling is not yet finished) but what can we put up instead? I looked at some of the Nora Lighting housings that were not as tall but am confused about IC/non-IC, acceptable for wet/damp areas, proximity to insulation, etc. Are there any smaller housings that I might use? Do you have any different products that would shed light down on the vanity that do not need such big housings? Thanks for any advice.
Answer: IC and NON IC refers to Insulated Ceilings and Non Insulated Ceilings. There is a precaution to take when your ceilings are insulated in which case you would have to use IC or insulated Ceiling rated housing. One of our smaller housings are about 4″.
Instead of using recessed lighting, you can get a ceiling can adapter and hang pendant lights from the existing holes. Manufacturers like Tech lighting and LBL lighting offer such adapters and pendants.

What does 3x 26W mean? Can this Progress Lighting Eclipse Transitional Inverted Pendant Light - PG-P3495-33EB accept a higher wattage bulb, like a 75 or 100 watt? Please advise.
Answer: 3X26W means that this pendant lighting fixture from Progress Lighting has three bulbs that are 26W each. The Maximum Wattage is 26W on each bulb, you can go below but you can not go above the listed wattage. Hence, you can not use the 75W or 100W. Total Lamping is 26W X 3 = 78W. Your website mentions that Nora Lighting Line Voltage Flatback Cylinder - NTH-102 can be used with 1-circuit and 2-circuit track lighting systems. Is your product able to derive current from both circuits (my choice of either #1 or #2)?
I am asking this because I have recently run into heads which were marketed by your competitor as compatible with Halo 2 track but which could only derive current from circuit #1 of the track. How does one make the change from Circuit 1 to Circuit 2 on your track heads? Thank you in advance, for your consideration and assistance.
Answer: All Nora Lighting track head can be used on either 1-circut or 2-circut track system. The track head adaptor comes with a lever that can be pushed up and down to adjust on the power bars on the rail. We have send you a document that will help you understand the mechanism better.

My wife likes this Paul Sahlin Tiffany A-Design Mission Tiffany Floor Lamp - PST-815 for her birthday. However, I am concerned that the “resin” base may not be heavy enough to prevent one of our pets from knocking the lamp over easily. So what does it weigh, and what the heck is “resin”? We have a similar table lamp with a metal base, quite heavy for a table lamp, but the cats can still tip it. The floor lamp with a relatively heavy glass shade could be too easily tipped over. I don’t relish paying a $50.00 restocking fee if the lamp is not satisfactory. Is there any dealer in Illinois or Indiana who stocks this brand where we might see it in person? Do you know of a large lamp store in Chicago, St. Louis or Indianpolis we might visit for such a look?
Answer: This floor lamps base from Paul Sahlin Tiffany is a resin material which is a type of stronger plastic. The lamp weighs 16lbs. We found a link through google to better explain the resin material:
http://www.crystaltower.com/aceresin/resin.html
In regards to seeing this lamp in person, try to visit a local lamp store in order to see an example of a resin lamp while bearing in mind the lamp that you want is 16lbs. We are not quite sure if Paul Sahlin has a dealer in your area, but you can call the manufacturer at 800-521-3996 to see if they can direct you to a dealer. Or call your local lamp stores and ask if they carry Paul Sahlin Tiffany lamps.

How many lamps does this Meyda Tiffany Pine Cone Chandelier - MD-29268 has and what is the maximum wattage per bulb? Also, what is the difference between Meyda Tiffany Pine Cone Chandelier - MD-29268 and Meyda Tiffany Pine Cone Chandelier - MD-30168? The descriptions are the same but the price is different.
Answer: Meyda Tiffany Pine Cone Chandelier - MD-29268 takes (3) medium base bulbs each with a max wattage of 100. This chandelier Height is 33″ - 63″. Shade: 6″H x 22″W. Custom crafted and takes about 3-4 weeks to build. This fixture has a black finish with an amber mica shade. The mica shade is a type of glass, but it does not have the thickness of regular glass or feel like regular glass. It is sometimes mistaken for plastic because it is a lead glass material. It is however very beautiful when lit.
On the other hand, Meyda Tiffany Pine Cone Chandelier - MD-30168 takes (4) 100W max, medium base bulbs. These are the regular bulbs you can buy from your local hardware store (even a grocery store). This fixture height is 33″ - 63″. Shade: 6″H x 22″W. This item also takes 3-4 weeks to build and ship. This model has an antique copper finish and the shade is glass.
We hope this answers your question, feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.
