Pendant Light Mounting Question

I would like to purchase 3 pendant lights for installation over my kitchen island. I am interested in model HS176, the LBL lighting Onyx Cylinder Pendant Light. I was thinking I would order the lamp with the MRL mount. Can this model/mount only be wired into the Nora monorail system or can it work with other track or monorail lighting systems with little or no rewiring? This is a Christmas gift and I want to give the recipient the ability to choose the mounting system of their choice.
Answer:
LBL pendant lights with the MRL mount option can be installed in the following fashions:
- Onto Halo-compatible tracks (requires additional track adapter)
- Onto LBL monorail system or their competitor’s rail system, such as Tech Lighting or WAC. However, it will NOT work with Nora rail. Also, it might void the competitors’ warranty, even though we’ve never heard of any problems resulting from combining LBL fixtures with their competitors’ rail systems.
