What is the material Trisyn?
I’m looking at outdoor lighting fixtures. Can you explain what the material Trisyn is?
Trisyn is a newly developed material designed as an alternative to cast aluminum components. In the lighting industry you can find some fixtures that are made from Trisyn. It is extremely strong, durable, and resistant to natural forces of nature such as cracking, warping, corrosion, and chipping. Things made with this material are more popular on the coast where the salt in this environment is so high that it corrodes metals very quickly. When testing this material against salt spray equivalent of 100,000 hours, the results were no visual or structural damage at all. A lighting fixture made from trisyn was dropped from a 3-story building. When it hit the cement, it bounced without cracking.
